【Abstract】 Curriculum ideological and political ability is one of the essential abilities for college Physical Education teachers, and it is the key to determining the effectiveness of curriculum ideological and political construction. Physical education courses cleverly integrate ideological and political elements such as patriotism, collectivism, and tenacious struggle while imparting students’ physical skills. The ideological and political abilities of physical education teachers play an important role in cultivating students’ comprehensive qualities, implementing the fundamental task of Lide Shuren, and promoting the integration of physical education and moral education in schools. Through approaches such as strengthening the study of ideological and political theories, exploring the ideological and political elements of Physical education courses, innovating physical education teaching methods and means, and strengthening practical training and communication cooperation, the ideological and political abilities of physical education teachers can be continuously improved.
