桑树新品种‘强桑5号’的育成

【摘要】 以高产、优质、环境适应性强的品种选育目标,采用人工有性杂交、单株选择、系统选择、区试鉴定等方法,育成桑树新品种‘强桑5号’。新品种主要性状特征:生长势旺、产叶量高、叶质优,年平均每667 m~2产叶量为3 074.31 kg,较对照品种‘荷叶白’提高15.37%;平均万蚕产茧层量为4 617.87 g,较对照品种‘荷叶白’高6.35%。同时还具有较强的抗虫、抗逆性。‘强桑5号’抗桑蓟马、红蜘蛛、桑粉虱等桑叶害虫,还具有一定的耐旱性。秋叶硬化迟,硬化期较对照品种‘荷叶白’迟10~11 d。新品种已获得国家农业农村部植物新品种保护权,在农村中试和扩大试验中表现出农艺性状优良,适合于长江流域与黄河中下游地区栽培。

【Abstract】 Aiming at the breeding objectives of high yield, high quality, and strong environmental adaptability, the new mulberry variety named ‘Qiangsang 5’ was bred through artificial sexual hybridization, single plant selection, systematic selection, and regional trial identification.‘Qiangsang 5’ has the main characteristics of strong growth vigor, high leaf yield,and excellent leaf quality. The average annual leaf yield per 667 m~2 is 3 074.31 kg, 15.37% higher than the control variety ‘Heyebai’. Average cocoon layer yield: 4 617.87 g per 10 000 silkworms, 6.35% higher than ‘Heyebai’. Resistance and adaptability: Strong resistance to mulberry pests such as thrips, red spider mites, and mulberry whiteflies, as well as a certain degree of drought tolerance. Delayed autumn leaf hardening: The hardening period is delayed by 10~11 days compared to the control variety ‘Heyebai’. The new variety has obtained the plant variety protection by the National Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. It demonstrated excellent agronomic traits during rural medium-scale trials and expanded field tests, showing suitability for cultivation in the Yangtze River Basin and the middle and lower reaches of the Yellow River.
