【Abstract】 Silkworm varieties are an important basis for obtaining high-yield and high-quality silkworm cocoons. This article reviewed the evolution of silkworm varieties in China since the founding of the People’s Republic of China, which can be summarized as follows: from raising local purebred breeds to raising F₁ hybrid breeds, and from raising local varieties and introducing foreign species to independently breeding excellent silkworm varieties in China. This article listed the main silkworm varieties in China’s sericultural areas, as well as the current situation of foreign and domestic introductions, which has reference value for sericultural production, especially for the cultivation and application of silkworm varieties.更多还原
