【Abstract】 This paper discusses how analytical concepts can benefit theoretical developments in higher education studies and beyond.Analytical concepts—applying the concept of organizational identity as a case—may provide a bridge between different theoretical perspectives and between more elaborated micro and macro organizational oriented theories.Hence,analytical concepts can in this way enhance theoretically comparative studies and shed more light on the complexities involved when studying both change and continuity in higher education.更多还原
