【Abstract】 Thoraco-cardiac surgery is one of the standardized residency training programs(referred to as residency training). Currently, in clinical practice, large tertiary hospitals have independently established the department of thoracic surgery and cardiovascular surgery. Due to differences between clinical practice and training requirements, a series of issues that may affect the quality of residency training in thoraco-cardiac surgery specialty have arisen.
