【Abstract】 It is a new mission of higher agricultural and forestry education to cultivate new and high-quality talents who serve agriculture, rural areas, and farmers guided by new agricultural science in the process of agricultural and rural modernization.Firstly, the issue analyses the mission and necessity of higher agricultural and forestry education reform under the background of new agricultural science.Then, the issue analyses the core competence of agriculture, forestry and management talents from the perspectives of knowledge, conscious and innovation.Secondly, we discuss the core competency system composed of learning ability, automation ability, and innovation ability for agriculture, forestry and management talents.Finally, in order to match agriculture, forestry and management talents with the needs of agricultural and rural modernization, some practical strategies for the operation of the core competency system of agriculture, forestry and management talents should be taken, which include the construction of knowledge systems, the positioning of educational characteristics, and the promotion of social development.更多还原
