【Abstract】 The numerical allogram seen in the Shi fa(《筮法》) in the Tsinghua bamboo slips is as same as that seen in the Jingmen Baoshan Chu slips, the Xincai Geling Chu slips, the Jingzhou Tianxingguan Chu slips and other Chu slips, which is a popular divination way around Chu State during Warring States Period. Shi fa in Tsinghua bamboo slips is the legendary“Lianshan allogram(连山卦)”, whose features are that it does not have hexagram texts but have four numerical allograms distrubuting in double parallel row, which is composed of “one”(seven), “six”,“four”,“five”, “eight”, “nine” and other numbers. It divines good or bad luck directly by hexagram image and hexagram quantity. This divination way is not only different from the system of the Zhouyi(《周易》) in the Shanghai Museum bamboo slips, but also different from the method of Guizang(《归 藏》) in the Wangjiashan Qin slips. The Lianshan divination way like the Shi fa connects eight trigrams with four seasons, four colors, four Xing(四 行) and heavenly stems and earthly branches fixedly, thus making itself the source of the yin-yang(阴阳) and Five-functions thoughts and fortune-telling afterworlds.
