【Abstract】 Dentition defects can hamper patients′ aesthetics and masticatory function. Implant restoration is one of the most effective options to treat dentition defect. The proper timing of implant placement is significant for function and aesthetical restorations. With the development of implant technique,how to select a proper time after tooth loss has been widely discussed among practitioners. In recent years,the stardardization of implant placement has enabled a high success rate of early implant placement. As a new choice of implantation,it has attracted more and more attention.
