【Abstract】 The word "illness" generally refers to an unhealthy state, which not only represents the physical and psychological discomfort, but also means the distortion of spirit and morality, with profound metaphorical meanings. As an important topic in science fiction, imagination of illness provides enlightenment to reflect on the loss of faith and ethical dilemma in the post-human age. From natural symptoms like plague, cancer, disability and depression, the alienation of science and technology caused by the expansion of instrumental rationality, to the spread of deadly viruses along with aliens’ invasion, different forms of illness in science fiction question the human subject, survey the current situation and foresee potential crises in the future, presenting much valuable philosophical thinking.更多还原
