【Abstract】 There have been occasional cases of microbial contamination in the process of embryo culture.Microbial contamination can come from various sources,such as semen,follicular fluid,and the in vitro environment. Common types of microbial contamination include bacteria,fungi,and chlamydia. There are few reports on cases of embryo culture contamination,which makes many centers believe that this issue can be ignored. This article discusses the sources,types,and microscopic characteristics of common microbial contamination in the embryo culture process,as well as the measures taken after contamination and strategies for laboratories to avoid contamination.
