【Abstract】 Since the 1970s, as many as 18 of Jia pingwa’s works have been adapted into lianhuanhua(serial pictures), including short stories, novellas, novels and essays. Among them, the famous prose Ugly Stone had three adaptations, and the novel Qinqiang, adapted and illustrated by Li Zhiwu and Men Xiaoyan, was the largest lianhuanhua of all. These lianhuanhua reflect the changes of the society over time and the characters’ own fate, and recorded Jia Pingwa’s journey in literature and his standpoint as a farmer. The lianhuanhua Qinqiang was exhibited and published in France, demonstrating the unique cultural attributes and artistic appeal of Chinese lianhuanhua.更多还原
