【Abstract】 With emerging insights into associations between human microbiome and host health, the use of probiotics has became more and more popular. However, there is still no consensus on the efficacy of probiotics. The evidence-based practice guideline is the best instrument to guide the clinical practices, and an appropriate evaluation method of the body of evidence is crucial for the development of this guidelines. We conducted a systematic literature search of the PubMed, CNKI,and Wanfang databases from January 2011 to December 2021, andthe evaluation methods for the hierarchy of evidences and strength of recommendations applied in the clinical guidelines concerning the health claims of probiotics were comprehensively reviewed.
