【Abstract】 At present, intergenerational conflict in the context of social media has become an important topic in the field of family communication research. This article, adopts individualization theory and through in-depth interviews,finds that the phenomenon of "pushing for marriage through We Chat" stems from parents’ anxiety about their children’s "counter-social clock". The younger generation will engage in anti-marriage resistance through conflict talk and media behaviors such as "digital invisibility" and online "CP performances.
