【Abstract】 Streptococcus pyogenes is one of the most important pathogens causing bacterial infections in humans. The bacteria possess virulence that can cause a wide range of human illnesses. In recent years, the incidence of scarlet fever and systemic invasive infections caused by Streptococcus pyogenes has increased, drawing increased attention to these bacterial illnesses from countries all over the world. The biological characteristics of Streptococcus pyogenes and the core technical characteristics and applications of detection methods, including traditional isolation and identification methods, molecular biological methods and immunological methods, are reviewed in order to provide an in-depth understanding of the virulence factors and pathogenic mechanisms of this species. We hope to provide a reference for the establishment of more rapid, convenient and sensitive detection methods for Streptococcus pyogenes and the development of daily chemical products for the prevention of related infections.更多还原
