【Abstract】 Critical thinking ability is one of the important abilities emphasized repeatedly by the Ministry of Education. The neglect of the maintenance and dissemination of mother tongue culture is an important manifestation of the absence of critical thinking ability in intercultural communication ability. This paper discusses the necessity of strengthening the education of mother tongue culture in the teaching of writing for English majors. Through typical teaching cases, it shows how to cultivate students’ correct intercultural thinking consciousness in writing class, and spread and carry forward the mother tongue culture while learning foreign culture critically.更多还原
