【Abstract】 The 20th CPC National Congress proposed that “from this day forward, the central task of the Communist Party of China will be to lead the Chinese people of all ethnic groups in a concerted effort to realize the Second Centenary Goal of building China into a great modern socialist country in all respects and to advance the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation on all fronts through a Chinese path to modernization.” In his report to the 20th CPC National Congress and in a series of important speeches since then, General Secretary Xi Jinping has elaborated the theory of Chinese modernization in a systematic and profound way. Our Journal has been committed to contributing multidisciplinary academic achievements to the cause of building a modern socialist country in all respects. To this end, it participated in hosting a symposium on “Building a Modern Socialist Country in All Respects” at Peking University in May 2023. Experts and scholars at the symposium discussed and exchanged views on various topics related to the subject matter. In this issue, we first publish the academic views of 7 participating experts and scholars: Xu Xianming, Qian Chengdan, Chen Xueming, Luo Fangshu, Sang Yucheng, Sun Bangzhu and Feng Shizheng.更多还原
