【Abstract】 Public policy evaluation is an important content of Chinese modernization. It is an important measure to promote the modernization of national governance system and governance capacity, a governance mode with Chinese characteristics, an effective approach for government’s administrative innovation, and an important way to facilitate the implementation of major policies. On the new journey of building China into a modern socialist country in all respects, we need to give full play to the important role of public policy evaluation, and strive to establish and improve a public policy evaluation system with Chinese characteristics.
