【Abstract】 On the basis of historical materialism, Stuart Hall reconsidered the relationship between economic foundation and superstructure and the relative independence of social culture, which provided basic thinking logic for the formation of the theory of cultural leadership. The author systematically elaborates on the ideological core of popular culture, encoding/decoding theory, and fusion theory as the struggle field, implementation tool, and implementation path of cultural leadership. The author elucidates the theoretical value of the theory of cultural leadership in promoting the understanding of the relative independence of social culture, the complexity of ideology, and its relationship with class. It is of great significance for China to prevent the infiltration of Western ideology, grasp the discourse power of mainstream ideology in China, and enhance the overall people’s sense of identification with socialist ideology.更多还原
