【Abstract】 In the new era, ideological and political courses in colleges and universities should attach importance to both theoretical teaching and practical teaching, with a greater emphasis on students’ subjectivity and sense of experience. Under the background of reform and innovation of ideological and political courses teaching, with the support of national policy, the application of virtual simulation technology in practical teaching of ideological and political courses can enable college students to better understand Marxism and Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, strengthen students’ communist beliefs, and cultivate their correct world views, outlook on life, and values. Through virtual simulation practice teaching, college students can better internalize the ideological and political ideas into their hearts and externalize the ideas into their actions, therefore, the efficiency and quality of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities can be improved. The establishment of a virtual simulation practice teaching platform in colleges and universities is a path to organically integrate virtual simulation technology with ideological and political courses, which can not only supplement the shortcomings of previous ideological and political course media, but also promote the reform and innovation of the ideological and political courses teaching system.更多还原
