【Abstract】 As hereditary cardiomyopathy with high incidence rate and the most frequent cause of sudden death in young people, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy(HCM) is now recognized as a global public health problem. Transforming growth factor-β(TGF-β) is a multifunctional growth factor that has upregulated expression levels in myocardial fibrosis and cardiac hypertrophy. Myocardial fibrosis and cardiac hypertrophy are the crucial steps in the progression of HCM. By regulating the function of cardiomyocytes and fibroblasts to promote changes in cardiac morphology, TGF-β may play a significant role in the pathogenesis of HCM. Therefore, this article reviews the related research progress of TGF-β in the pathogenesis of HCM in order to provide clues for the treatment and prevention of HCM.更多还原
