【Abstract】 The red culture is a non renewable "living fossil" left over by the CPC in the course of a century’s struggle, and it has unique functions that cannot be replaced for patronage, education and rejuvenation of the party. The connotation of red culture education is rich and profound. The political, spiritual and cultural connotation it contains is embodied in the distinctive political background of the CPC, the unique spiritual background of the Chinese nation and the profound cultural background of Chinese culture. This article elaborates on the performance of the educational function of red culture from three dimensions of value, emotion, and behavior, and focuses on promoting the practical orientation of red culture education in an all-round and full process from such aspects as "red culture+educational content", "red culture+practical teaching" and "red culture+Internet".
