Influence of Wheel-Rail Adhesion State on Wheel-Rail Dynamic Interaction in Curve Section
【Abstract】 Based on the vehicle-track coupling dynamics theory, a metro vehicle-track coupling dynamics model considering different wheel-rail adhesion states was established, and the influence of different wheel-rail interface adhesion states and curve radius on the dynamic interaction of wheel-rail system was analyzed. The results show that when the vehicle passes through the curve section, the adhesion state of the wheel-rail interface has a significant impact on the wheelset motion attitude and the dynamic interaction of the wheel-rail system. The existence of low adhesion contact state at the wheel-rail interface will weaken the wheelset guidance ability, resulting in an increase in the derailment coefficient, especially when there is low adhesion contact state at the outer wheel-rail interface. The derailment coefficient can be effectively reduced by properly reducing the inner wheel-rail friction coefficient through lubrication while maintaining a larger outer wheel-rail friction coefficient, thus improving the safety of vehicle lateral operation. The inner and outer wheel-rail wear index is mainly determined by the adhesion state of the wheel-rail on the corresponding side, and decreases with the increase of the curve radius.
