【Abstract】 Colleges stand an important position for traditional cultural education, which carries the mission of cultural inheritance and innovation in constructing Chinese path to modernization. In the teaching of higher education, innovative thinking cultivaiton, teaching content renewal, teaching forms innovation and personnel team building significantly impact on the outcome of traditional Chinese cultural education. Problem awareness and divergent thinking are critical for innovative thinking. The enrichment and development of the excellent traditional cultural connotation, as well as the exploration and creative transformation of the universal value in traditional culture are crucial to improve the teaching content. The integration of teaching methods is an inevitable requirement for education reform in the information age. The team building of excellent educators and researchers is a guarantee for the inheritance and innovation. The above factors, being motivated and blended in their internal functions, construct a long-term mechanism in higher education platforms that integrates inheritance, innovation, and creation functions.
