【Abstract】 The freshmen in the universities majoring in chemistry always less value the experimental course of computer programming with inadequate learning enthusiasm for studying. Confronting the status, a new teaching mode is developed to build a close relationship with chemistry. With the goal of solving chemical problems, experiments with chemical background and diverse teaching forms are compiled for the freshmen in the department of chemistry. By demonstrating the important applications of computer programming in chemistry, the studying interest of the freshmen is raised. The mode can effectively cultivate the innovative spirit and ability of the undergraduates to solve the chemical problems with computer programming.
