快速灰质采集T1反转恢复序列在视放射重建中的应用价值
Application of fast gray matter acquisition T1 inversion recovery in reconstruction of optic radiation
【摘要】 目的 探讨快速灰质采集T1反转恢复(FGATIR)序列在视放射重建中的应用价值。方法 对15例健康志愿者进行3D-T1磁化准备快速梯度回波成像(3D-T1 MP-RAGE)序列、T2-液体衰减反转恢复(T2-FLAIR)序列、FGATIR序列和扩散张量成像(DTI)序列扫描,比较外侧膝状体在3D-T1 MP-RAGE、T2-FLAIR序列与FGATIR序列中的显示情况。Slicer软件利用FGATIR序列通过基于DTI的纤维追踪技术重建视放射,观察重建效果。结果 FGATIR序列上脑白质显示明显低信号,大脑皮层与脑内部灰质核团显示为明显高信号,FGATIR序列中脑实质灰质核团与脑白质间的对比度明显优于3D-T1 MP-RAGE序列与T2-FLAIR序列。相比3D-T1 MP-RACE序列与T2-FLAIR序列,外侧膝状体及其与周围结构的信号差异在FGATIR序列上更为明显,更容易准确识别。15例志愿者成功重建30个视放射,Meyer袢前端与颞极的平均距离(34.64±3.72) mm。结论 FGATIR序列在脑灰、白质间对比度更高,在识别外侧膝状体区域方面拥有明显优势,可作为视放射重建的理想结构像。Slicer软件可用于重建视放射以辅助临床医生的诊疗工作。
【Abstract】 Objective To investigate the application value of fast gray matter acquisition T1inversion recovery(F-GATIR) sequencein reconstruction of optic radiation.Methods 3D-T1 magnetization prepared-rapid gradient echo imaging(3D-T1 MP-RAGE) sequence,T,-fluid attenuated inversion recovery(T2-FLAIR) sequence,FGATIR sequence and diffusion tensor imaging(DTI) sequence were obtained from 15 healthy volunteers.The display of the lateral geniculate body in 3D-T1MP-RAGE,T2-FLAIR,and FGATIR sequences were compared.Using the Slicer software,optic radiations were reconstructed with the method of DTI-based tractography.Subsequently,the optic radiations reconstructed were observed and analyzed.Results The brain white matter appeared hypo-intensity,cerebral cortex and the internal gray matter nucleus showed hyperintensity on FGATIR sequence.The contrast between cerebral gray matter nucleus and white matter was significantly higher on FGATIR than that on 3D-T,MP-RAGE and T2-FLAIR sequences.Compared with 3D-T1 MP-RAGE and T2-FLAIR sequences,the signal difference between the lateral geniculate body and its surrounding structures was significantly obvious on FGATIR sequence.The lateral geniculate body was easier to identify accurately on FGATIR sequence.Thirty optic radiations from 15 healthy volunteers were reconstructed successfully.The mean distance between the anterior end of Meyer’s loop and the temporal pole was(34.64±3.72) mm.Conclusion The contrast of cerebral gray matter and white matter is much higher on FGATIR sequence.FGATIR sequence has an obvious advantage in the identification of lateral geniculate body.FGATIR sepuence can be considered an optimal structural image for reconstruction of optic radiation.Slicer software can be used for reconstruction of optic radiation to assist neurosurgeon in clinical diagnosis and treatment.
