单膜双室电沉积金属锰联产EMD的影响因素

Influencing Factors of EMD by Single Film Double Chamber Electrodeposition of Manganese Metal Cogeneration

【摘要】 针对传统膜电解法单独电解金属锰或电解二氧化锰(EMD)工艺存在资源利用率低、污染环境的问题,采用单膜双室电解法将金属锰与EMD进行同槽电解,且在阳极回收硫酸,并考察了阴极液硫酸铵浓度、电解液Mn2+浓度、阳极液初始硫酸浓度、电流密度4个因素对电沉积效果的影响。结果表明:在阴极液硫酸铵浓度为120 g/L、电解液Mn2+浓度为40 g/L、阳极液初始硫酸浓度为0.6 mol/L、阴阳两极的电流密度分别为400 A/m2和800 A/m2的条件下,进行6 h电解,得到阴极锰产率可达78.22%,酸回收率为62.41%,EMD产率为23.7%,电能消耗仅为5 675 kW·h/t,槽电压为5.86 V。同时发现对锰产率影响最显著的因素是电流密度,对EMD产率及酸回收率影响最显著的因素是阳极液初始硫酸浓度和电流密度。在最佳实验条件下的阴极产品金属锰板表面光洁密实、具明显银白色金属光泽、晶粒分层聚集、颗粒粒度均一、并呈现蜂窝状组织,整体形态良好。

【Abstract】 In order to address the problems of low resource utilization and environmental pollution of the traditional membrane electrolysis process of electrolysis of manganese metal or electrolytic manganese dioxide(EMD) alone.In this research, manganese metal and EMD were electrolyzed in the same tank using single film and double chamber electrolysis, while the sulfuric acid is recovered at the anode.The effects of four factors, cathode solution ammonium sulfate concentration, electrolyte Mn2+ concentration, anode solution initial sulfuric acid concentration, and current density, on the electrodeposition effect were investigated.The results showed that under the conditions of cathode solution ammonium sulfate concentration of 120 g/L,electrolyte Mn2+ concentration of 40 g/L,initial sulfuric acid concentration of anode solution of 0.6 mol/L,and current density of cathode and anode of 400 and 800 A/m2,respectively, electrolysis was carried out for 6 h, the cathode manganese production rate was up to 78.22%,the acid recovery rate was 62.41%,and the EMD rate was 23.7%.The power consumption was only 5 675 kW·h/t, and the tank voltage was 5.86 V.It was also found that the most significant factor affecting the manganese production rate was the current density, and the most significant factors affecting the EMD production rate and acid recovery rate were the initial sulfuric acid concentration of the anode solution and the current density.The surface of the cathode product manganese metal plate under the best experimental conditions is smooth and dense, with obvious silver-white metallic luster, the grains are layered and aggregated, the grain size is uniform, the size is uniform, and it presents a honeycomb organization, while the overall morphology is good.
