【Abstract】 Mechanical basis of chemical equipment is one of the main courses of chemical engineering major in colleges and universities, which is responsible for ideological and political education. Combined with the course content, the ideological and political education elements of the course are deeply explored, then on this basis, ideological and political education goals are condensed. The concrete implementation methods and ways of curriculum ideology and politics are discussed and ideological and political education is integrated into the teaching evaluation system to combine ideological and political elements such as patriotism, safety awareness and a sense of mission for the times with the evaluation of the teaching effect. Teaching practice has proved that the organic integration of ideological and political elements with teaching content not only achieves the goal of ideological and political education, but also improves the professional teaching effect.
