【Abstract】 With the rapid development of urban railway transit industry, higher requirements are put forward for improving the quality of talent training. Under the background of “3E”, the educational reform of related majors in colleges and universities conforms to the development of the times and the needs of the society. As an important branch in the field of transportation, urban railway engineering should seize the current opportunity to establish new type of rail engineering major to meet the requirements of the new era. This innovative reform can cultivate innovative professional and technical talents for the society, and make contribution to the development of urban railway transit in China.
