工科留学生“大学物理”课程教学模式改革探索

【摘要】 结合“大学物理”课程的理论和实践课堂教学,对新工科背景下工科留学生学习中遇到的问题进行了分析和讨论。针对新工科背景下留学生物理基础课程的教学目标,提出小班化集中授课、英文案例视频与演示实验相结合、启用线上英语预习机制、增加课堂互动环节、专门设置小班研讨课、增加开放性实践环节、引入单独软考核机制等一系列提高留学生学习质量和培养创新型人才的教学模式。有针对性地解决留学生学习物理时遇到的实际问题或重难点问题,是提高留学生的学习兴趣和主动性的关键。

【Abstract】 Combined with the theoretical and practical classroom teaching of College Physics, this paper analyzes and discusses the problems encountered in the study of engineering students under the background of emerging engineering education. Aiming at the teaching objectives of physics basic courses for overseas students under the background of emerging engineering education, a series of teaching modes are carried out to improve the learning quality of foreign students and cultivate innovative talents. This paper puts forward small class centralized teaching, the combination of English case video and demonstration experiment, the activation of online English preview mechanism, the increase of classroom interaction links, the special setting of small class seminar courses,the increase of open practice links, the introduction of separate soft assessment mechanism and so on. It is found that solving the practical or difficult problems encountered by overseas students in learning physics is the key to promoting students’ learning interest and initiative.
