放电等离子烧结(Er2.5Gd0.5Co)x(Er2GdCo)1-x合金的磁热效应研究
Magnetocaloric Effects in SPS Sintered(Er2.5Gd0.5Co)x(Er2GdCo)1-x Alloys
【摘要】 通过电弧熔炼结合放电等离子烧结技术制备了系列样品(Er2.5Gd0.5Co)x(Er2GdCo)1-x(x=0.1、0.2、0.3)。研究发现,系列样品均发生顺磁到反铁磁、反铁磁到铁磁的连续磁相变。在0 T~5 T外加变化磁场下,合金的最大磁熵变-ΔSM分别为10.8 Jkg-1K-1(x=0.1)、10.1 Jkg-1K-1(x=0.2)、9.3 Jkg-1K-1(x=0.3),对应的RC值分别为556.7 Jkg-1、524.9 Jkg-1、566.7 Jkg-1。在合金(Er2.5Gd0.5Co)0.3(Er2GdCo)0.7中观察到了从35 K到55 K的近似平台的“桌面型”磁熵变曲线,该合金适用于埃里克森磁制冷循环。
【Abstract】 The alloys (Er2.5Gd0.5Co)x(Er2GdCo)1-x(x=0.1,0.2,0.3) were obtained by arc-melting followed by SPS technology.It is found that two successive magnetic phase transitions,namely,paramagneticantiferromagnetic transition and antiferromagnetic-ferromagnetic transition occured in all samples.For a field change of 0 T-5 T,the maximum magnetic entropy changes were determined to be 10.8 Jkg-1K-1 for x=0.1,10.1 Jkg-1K-1 for x=0.2,9.3 Jkg-1K-1 for x=0.3,respectively,and the corresponding RC values are 556.7Jkg-1,524.9 Jkg-1 and 566.7 Jkg-1.A"table-like"magnetic entropy change curve from 35 K to 55 K was observed in the (Er2.5Gd0.5Co)0.3(Er2GdCo)0.7 alloy,which is suitable for the Erickson magnetic refrigeration cycle.
