【Abstract】 Water security is a matter related to the long-term national stability. After years of efforts, Hunan has made remarkable achievements in improving the capability to safeguard water security, but still faces severe challenges in flood control and drought relief, drinking water, water use, river and lake ecology and other aspects of safeguarding water security.
