【摘要】 1903年前后，因传闻高尔伊、刘鹗与洋商合作在浙办矿，留日乡党在《浙江潮》上发起声讨，此即鲁迅写作《中国地质略论》的直接原因。以往研究多指认高、刘一方为卖国，与之相对，《中国地质略论》被简单定义为爱国主义文本，实则遮蔽了其中更为丰富的面向。通过梳理这一矿案由传闻到撤销的始末，重审《浙江潮》主要时论与刘鹗的经世之文，可以看到，基于西方现代主权意识与儒家养民理念这两种救国之道的差异。鲁迅批判后者的同时也不满足于前者，特别引介地质学以论证开矿的前提，即借由地质学携带的新时空观，直取重建国民知识结构的根源性问题，寻求在西方主导的强弱世界秩序中实现民族自立的可能。如此，鲁迅《中国地质略论》既提供了一则声援抗议的知识补充，也留下了一份携带反思意义的历史证言。更多还原

【Abstract】 Around 1903, due to the rumor that Gao Eryi and Liu E cooperated with foreign merchants to run a mine in Zhejiang, some natives of Zhejiang studying in Japan launched a protest in the magazine Zhejiang Tide, which is the direct cause for Lu Xun’s writing of A Brief Introduction to Chinese Geology. Previous studies had often identified regarded Gao and Liu as traitors to the country, while in contrast, A Brief Introduction to Chinese Geology was simply defined as a patriotic text, which actually obscured its richer aspects. By sorting out the entire process of this mining case from its initial rumor to its ultimate revocation, and reviewing the then major public opinion carried in the magazine Zhejiang Tide as well as Liu E’s writings on social governance, it can be seen that there are differences between the two ways of national salvation respectively based on the Western modern sovereignty consciousness and the Confucian view of nurturing the people. While criticizing the latter’s ignorance and eagerness for profit, Lu Xun was not satisfied with the former’s logic of colonial power, so he particularly introduced geology to demonstrate the premise of mining, that is, through the new spatio-temporal perspective carried by geology, he directly sought to reconstruct the fundamental issue of national knowledge structure and pursue the possibility of national independence in the strong and weak world order dominated by the West. In this way, Lu Xun’s A Brief Introduction to Chinese Geology not only provides an intellectual supplement to support protests, but also leaves behind a historical testimony with reflective significance.更多还原
