【Abstract】 The integration of industry, academia, and research is one of the important ways to cultivate innovative talents in universities. The collaborative innovation research of industry, academia, and research in the field of geographic information science plays a crucial role in improving regional economic vitality, cultivating talents in universities, and transforming scientific and technological achievements in research institutes. Based on the construction of a geographic information industry university research project cooperation platform and the design of local service collaborative education cases, the article proposes a practical, operational, and replicable talent cultivation model for the coupling of industry university research and university enterprise in the field of geographic information science in universities.
