硅灰石表面改性及其在聚丙烯中的应用
Surface modification of wollastonite and their application in polypropylene
【摘要】 采用硅烷偶联剂KH-570与钛酸酯偶联剂JN-114对硅灰石进行干法表面改性,研究了改性剂种类及用量、改性温度和改性时间对改性效果以及聚丙烯复合材料性能的影响。结果表明,采用KH-570改性的最佳工艺:KH-570用量3.0%(w),常温,时间30 min,此条件下得到的改性硅灰石活化指数95.45%,水接触角91.25°;采用JN-114改性的最佳工艺:JN-114用量1.0%(w),温度70℃,时间30 min,此条件下得到的改性硅灰石活化指数98.16%,水接触角83.57°;KH-570与JN-114均以化学吸附作用于硅灰石表面。采用硅灰石填充聚丙烯,KH-570改性的硅灰石提高了聚丙烯复合材料的拉伸强度、弯曲强度与模量,而JN-114改性的硅灰石能有效提高聚丙烯复合材料的冲击强度与熔体流动性。
【Abstract】 Silane coupling agent KH-570 and titanate coupling agent JN-114 were used for dry surface modification of wollastonite. The effects of the type and amount of the modifiers,modification temperature and modification time on the modification effect as well as on the properties of polypropylene composites were studied. The results show that the optimum modification process parameters with KH-570 are as follows:the mass fraction of KH-570 is 3.0%,the reaction is at room temperature,and the time is 30 min. The activation index of modified wollastonite is 95.45%,and the water contact angle is 91.25°. The optimum modification process with JN-114 is as follows:The mass fraction of JN-114 is 1.0%,the temperature is 70 ℃,the time is 30 min. The modified wollastonite activation index is 98.16% and the water contact angle is 83.57°.Both reagents are chemically adsorbed on the wollastonite surface. The modified wollastonite are filled in polypropylene,among which,KH-570 modified wollastonite improves the tensile strength,bending strength and modulus of the composites,while the JN-114 modified one improves the impact strength and melt fluidity of the composite effectively.
