【Abstract】 The new finance and economics education reform is a new practice and expansion in the field of finance and economics education that meets the requirements of the Ministry of Education’s "Four New" construction. It is a realistic need for China in the new era to implement the new development philosophy, foster a new development pattern, and pursue high-quality development. The new finance and economics education reform follows the laws of technological development, industrial development, and talent training. It adopts new concepts, new methods, and new models to cultivate high-quality, compound, and application-oriented talents for new finance and economics with "national feelings, professional knowledge, information technology, professional accomplishment, and international vision" in five dimensions. In order to promote the deepening and implementation of the new finance and economics education reform, we will focus on eight aspects: constructing an independent knowledge system, promoting interdisciplinary integration, innovating talent cultivation content, innovating teaching methods, innovating talent cultivation models, improving the level of social services, building an open education system, and promoting the sharing of educational resources.
