【Abstract】 College English teaching is a public compulsory course with humanism and instrumentality. College English teaching should not only emphasize the improvement of students’ language skills and the use of language knowledge, but also the cultivation of students’ personality and morality. Under the guidance of teachers, to ensure that students establish the right concept, to achieve the goal of successful growth. Therefore, in college English teaching, it is necessary to promote the effective integration of moral education and knowledge imparting from the perspective of moral cultivation. This paper first discusses the necessity of moral education in college English teaching, and then analyzes the reasons for the deficiency of moral education in college English teaching.
