【Abstract】 The "double carbon" strategy is a broad and profound economic and social systemic change. The "double carbon" goal puts forward new challenges for the development of environmental engineering disciplines and the trainingof new engineering talents.As one of the core courses of environmental engineering, the principles of environmental engineering should be should be reformed in teaching modes and methods to meet the requirements of the construction of ecological civilization for the cultivation of environmental talents under the goal of "double carbon", so that students can deeply understand the inherent connection between environmental pollution control and the achievement of "double carbon" goal.
