【Abstract】 Green development is an essential component of the new development philosophy and is imperative for high-quality development and the establishment of a new developmental framework. Green development represents a significant innovation in developmental theory based on China’s experience in building an ecological civilization. This approach transcends the constraints of Western developmental paths, offering more choices for sustained economic growth. China’s green development philosophy is rooted in Marxist-inspired perspectives on ecological progress,highlighting profound implications of people-centeredness, ecological orientation, sustainability, scientific basis, and openness.
