【Abstract】 The discourse marker “niganxin”(你敢信) appears either together with other units to form a discourse turn, or it might appear independently and act as a turn alone. The rhetorical usage of “niganxin” in acting domain shows that this discourse marker has a function of inviting the listener to make inference, while the negation in knowing domain reflects a function of subjective evaluation, and seeking common ground in uttering domain displays a function of the interaction of positions. “Niganxin”possesses its own formative causation and formation mechanism.
