【Abstract】 Tin smudge(the oxidation products of tin) is an inherent defect appearing on the surface of tinplate. The manufacturing of milk powder cans requires that the tin smudge of tinplate is not high than grade one. As for the technological characteristics of high-speed tin plating unit with a running rate higher than 450 m/min, the effects of several factors i.e.surface parameters of steel sheet, material and surface parameters of looper roll, degreasing prior to plating, rinsing after plating, and film structure on the formation of tin smudge were studied. Corresponding measures to reduce tin smudge on tinplate surface were given.更多还原
