【Abstract】 Under the background of new engineering,“meeting the needs of industry and facing the development of technology”is an important content of the training of architectural engineering talents in application-oriented undergraduate colleges. This paper analyzes the social demand for construction technical talents under the background of new engineering, and the problems existing in the teaching of construction technology courses in current application-oriented undergraduate colleges are clarified. Based on the analysis of the connotation characteristics of the construction and development of new engineering in application-oriented universities, this paper puts forward some measures for the course reform of construction technology in application-oriented universities.
