【Abstract】 The automatic sorting system refers to an automatic device that can identify material properties and sort materials. The automatic sorting system designed in this article is used to sort cylindrical metal and non-metal workpieces, using Siemens’ SIMATIC S7-1200 as the CPU. Inductive and capacitive sensors are used to distinguish between metal and non-metal workpieces. Each executing mechanism in the system is controlled by a PLC program to locate, grab, and place workpieces, implementing an efficient sorting process. In addition to controlling automatic sorting, PLC also monitors the status of equipment, detects abnormal situations,and can quickly identify and provide corresponding alarm information in case of faults, so as to take timely measures to reduce downtime and production losses.更多还原
