【Abstract】 To effectively guide the development of urban transportation under the“dual carbon”strategy,the 32nd Urban Transportation Development Forum was held in Chongqing, China, on May 26, 2023. The forum was hosted by the Organizing Committee and organized by Chongqing Transport Planning Institute,with a theme on urban transportation renewal under the“dual carbon”goal. The forum revolved around China’s “3060” and “dual carbon” goals, focused on topics such as urban transportation renewal and green, low-carbon and high-quality development. Extensive discussions were conducted in theoretical methodology, technical system, and practical experience of urban transportation renewal in the new period.How to implement the“dual carbon”strategy in urban transportation development is discussed in the forum from different perspectives, mainly involving the optimization of urban spatial structure and functional layout, mobility management and improvements in urban travel, energy structure adjustment, and urban transportation renewal.更多还原
