【Abstract】 Ideological and political education is the fundamental way for higher vocational colleges to achieve their educational function, and ideological and political education in curriculum is an important component of ideological and political education. Establishing a virtual teaching and research office for ideological and political education in curriculum can provide important assistance for improving the effectiveness of ideological and political education in curriculum in higher vocational colleges. On the basis of summarizing the necessity of carrying out ideological and political education in curriculum in higher vocational colleges, the main problems existing in ideological and political courses in higher vocational colleges are sorted out, and the role of establishing a virtual teaching and research office for ideological and political education in curriculum in enhancing the effectiveness of ideological and political education in curriculum is clarified.
