DELTA系统在资源植物研究中应用的两个案例
Two Case Studies of DELTA System Application in Resource Plant Research
【摘要】 目前已有一些计算机辅助技术用于植物的物种鉴定,其中最具代表性的是DELTA系统。DELTA系统在植物资源研究中具有潜在的应用价值,值得推荐给相关学者。为更好地展示DELTA系统的功能和推荐这一工具,我们报道了以下两项研究结果。第一,利用DELTA系统,基于筛选出的21个形态特征,编制了河北省伞形科分种交互式检索表,提供了一个新型的鉴定伞形科植物资源的检索工具;第二,利用Flora of China数据库中已有的杜鹃花属交互式检索表筛选出具有较高经济价值的中国野生高山杜鹃资源,这将为加强高山杜鹃的驯化、栽培和开发利用提供便利。
【Abstract】 Several computer-aided taxonomic techniques for plant specimen identification have been used. One of the best representatives is the DELTA(DEscription Language for TAxonomy)system. The DELTA system was recommended for plant biologists as a worthy,widely used software with potential and broad application for related research. The following two studies were carried out using the DELTA system. First,an interactive key for species of family Apiaceae in Hebei was constructed from 21 characters in the DELTA system,which provided a new tool for taxonomists to identify Apiaceae plants. Second,a wild Chinese alpine rhododendron resource name list was generated from the interactive key of genus Rhododendron. It is beneficial to strengthen alpine rhododendron′s cultivation,development,and utilization.
