【Abstract】 Sujun No. 8 is a new non-heading Chinese cabbage F₁hybrid developed by crossing self-incompatible lines KR1001as female parent and NS33-1as male parent. It has the compact simi-erect plant architecture. This variety is early maturing and havested about 30 days after sowing in the autumn open field in Tianjin area. The yield of Sujun No. 8can reach 3 500 kg per 667 m²with about 120 g per plant.The size of plant is about 23 cm in height and 25 cm in expansion diameter. The leaves are dark green and glossy, and the petioles are smooth with bright green color and little wax powder. It is high resistant to virus disease and downy mildew, and toletant to hot and wet. It has wide adaptability all over the country for summer and autumn cultivation. This variety is suitable for planting in open field in south of the Yangtze River and in protecting field in north China during the winter and spring.更多还原
