核电站破损燃料组件在线啜吸检测系统设计
Design of Online Sip Detection System for Broken Fuel Assemblies in Nuclear Power Plant
【摘要】 燃料组件破损引起的核裂变产物泄漏,将严重威胁核反应堆和环境的安全。因此,在核电站换料大修期间,对燃料组件进行在线破损泄漏检测是十分必要的。在分析了核裂变原理及放射性裂变气体产额和寿命的基础上,开展了以产额较大和特征能量峰较明显的裂变气体133Xe作为燃料组件破损检测对象的研究。提出了一种基于啜吸技术测量133Xe裂变气体γ能谱,结合数据处理技术判定燃料组件是否存在破损的方法,并以此为原理开展了数字式破损燃料组件在线啜吸检测系统设计。工程应用结果表明,该数字式在线啜吸检测系统可以有效识别破损燃料组件,满足燃料组件在线破损泄漏检测要求。
【Abstract】 The leakage of nuclear fission products caused by fuel assembly breakage will seriously threaten the safety of nuclear reactors and the environment. Therefore, it is necessary to perform online breakage leakage detection of fuel assemblies during the refueling overhaul of nuclear power plants. Based on the analysis of the nuclear fission principle and the yield and lifetime of radioactive fission gas, a study is conducted to detect the breakage of 133Xe, a fission gas with large yield and distinctive energy peak, as the object of fuel assembly breakage detection. A method is proposed to measure the γ-energy spectrum of 133Xe fission gas based on the sip technique and combine it with data processing technology to determine whether the fuel assembly is damaged or not, and a digital online sip detection system for damaged fuel assemblies is designed based on this principle. The application results show that the digital online sip detection system can effectively identify broken fuel assemblies and meet the requirements of online broken fuel assembly leak detection.
