【Abstract】 University library is an important carrier of campus culture, so the guiding sign design of university library should be integrated with campus culture. The article analyzes the present situation of the guiding sign design of university libraries. Taking the bookshelf sign design of Dalian University of Technology library as an example, combined with the cultural, practical, unified and sustainable principles of the guiding sign design of university libraries, this article discusses the proposal of the bookshelf sign design of Dalian University of Technology library integrating the spirit of campus culture.
