【Abstract】 This paper introduces the current situation of governments’ support for the development of citizen science in the United States, focusing on the legal basis, the relevant policy instruments, actions and typical cases of different federal agencies, and the distribution of citizen science projects. On this basis, the paper proposes to expand and deepen the scientific cognition of citizens, strengthen the role of government agencies and social organizations in promoting citizen science, enhance the quality management of project with the emphasis on data management, and establish incentive mechanism for citizen scientists.更多还原
