一种测量光纤电致伸缩系数的方法与装置
A Method and Device of Measuring the Electrostriction Coefficient of Optical Fibers
【摘要】 基于受激布里渊散射效应,采用微波光子技术来对光纤的电致伸缩系数进行测量。基于光纤中的受激布里渊散射效应对电致伸缩系数进行理论建模,求解其与受激布里渊增益谱峰值增益与本征线宽之间的物理关系;然后基于包络检波技术来求解峰值增益并确定布里渊频移值;再然后构建相位调制—直接解调的链路,通过微波扫频确定受激布里渊增益谱的峰值本征线宽;最后求解电致伸缩系数值。
【Abstract】 Based on stimulated Brillouin scattering (SBS) effect,the electrostriction coefficient of fiber is measured by microwave photon technique.Based on the stimulated Brillouin scattering effect in optical fiber,the electrostriction coefficient is theoretically modeled,and the physical relationship among it and the peak gain of stimulated Brillouin gain spectrum and the intrinsic linewidth is solved.Then,the peak gain is solved based on envelope-demodulation technique to determine the Brillouin frequency shift value.After that,the phase modulation—direct demodulation link is constructed,and the peak eigenline width of the stimulated Brillouin gain spectrum is determined by microwave sweep frequency.Finally,the electrostriction coefficient value is solved.
